Nevada Winter Park youth soccer controversy

The part I can't get past is a restraining order for trespassing, handed to the family of a kid who is barely 3. That's the ending of a youth soccer story out of Winter Park, Florida, and the whole thing went viral for reasons that have nothing to do with a highlight reel. Nevada was playing up in a league meant for 5-year-olds, and the gap was apparently so wide that other kids struggled to get the ball off his feet at all. Parents on the opposing side got fed up, grumbled about how good he was, and it escalated to some of them phoning the cops hoping he'd be pulled from the pitch. The organization's response? Out of the tournament, money back to his family, plus that trespassing order. The internet has been loud about it ever since, and the question sitting underneath all of it is whether a child is basically being penalized for being too far ahead of everyone else. Curious where you all land on this one.
