Amanda Seyfried on turning down Gamora

Amanda Seyfried passed on Gamora in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, and the reason she gives is the talking tree and the raccoon chatting it up in space. That setup read to her like a flop in waiting, and she figured a bad version of it could wreck her career, with the odds leaning toward bad. She says plainly that she was wrong about how it turned out. The decision still stands, though. It was made for herself and for the family she knew she wanted, and she wasn't about to park herself in the makeup trailer for that long. Candid, via sagaftraFOUND.
