Mourinho on Africa, FIFA and player eligibility

Mourinho knows this one won't win him any fans, and he said it anyway. His point: African players have the talent to win any tournament, so the problem isn't ability. It's that most of the continent's best end up scattered around the world wearing other countries' shirts instead of the ones they came from. What he wants is for the world to see Africa as the same as everyone else, and for FIFA to do things fairly by refusing to let players represent other countries. Do that, he argues, and FIFA tournaments get more competitive and less one-sided.
