Messi tops 2026 Ballon d'Or survey

The Athletic asked former Premier League and La Liga footballers to name their favorite for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, and Lionel Messi came out on top. Behind him the order went Harry Kane, then Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Lamine Yamal, and Kylian Mbappé in fifth. To me he's the greatest of all time and the actual Ballon d'Or winner, and the man keeps generating debate whether people like it or not.
