Romario on daughter Ivy and his Down princess shirt

Romario didn't lead with the hard part, but he doesn't skip it either. The first 10 minutes after the news hit were difficult, complicated. He already had five children, so why was Ivy born special? That question sat with him until he landed on something else: something was missing in his life for him to become a happy, joyful person. People whispered, and some figured he was hiding his princess. Instead, being a public figure, he called a press conference to announce it. That same year he said goodbye to the Brazilian national team with a goal against Guatemala, and the shirt he wore read that he has a daughter who is a Down princess. Presenting her to the world changed the concept a lot of people have, his own included.
