France deploys 70,000 security forces amid riots

70,000 Security forces headed to the streets is the number France is putting behind this, an army-sized deployment meant to shut down riots nationwide while the government tries to hold order together. Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez pointed at far-left calls going around social media to hit public buildings and stir up even more chaos, and he wasn't soft about it: "We are not talking about a nice protest... we are ready tomorrow to be extremely firm." Thousands of arrests already, and the government is bracing for another wave over the weekend. Source: Osint613 / Writer: Bri
