Kylian Mbappé and Ryan Giggs assist stats

The UEFA Champions League history books are packed with legends who were simply the best passers their generation ever produced. Ryan Giggs stands alone at the summit with 41 assists, while Cristiano Ronaldo sits just behind with 40 to his name. Lionel Messi isn't far off either, having racked up 39 in the competition. David Beckham and Ángel Di María are locked in a tie for the next spot, both sitting on 36 assists each. Luís Figo has added 34 to the tally, Xavi Hernández brought 31, and Neymar Jr. contributed 30. The numbers get tighter as you go down the list: Raúl González, Kevin De Bruyne, Karim Benzema, Zinedine Zidane, Andrés Iniesta, and Kylian Mbappé all hover between 26 and 27 assists. Vinícius Jr. is also part of that final cluster with 26. Mbappé is officially the newest addition to this massive list of assist providers.
