Football sock hole trend Bellingham

It's wild how footballers like Bellingham and Gareth Bale have turned cutting holes in the back of their socks into a full-blown trend just to relieve calf pressure. This isn't some minor style tweak; it actually sparks real questions about whether current regulations hold up and if those shin guards are still doing their job properly. Former referee Iturralde González weighed in on the mess, noting that while rules strictly ban equipment modifications, they never specifically clarify the legal status of these holes. The situation has gotten so specific that brands like Adidas, Umbro, and Nike had to move their logos around just to keep them from getting hidden between the cut sections. A trend that is now challenging both the regulations and sports brands.
