Pablo Alvarez Ronaldinho encounter

The tunnel moment where a player decides to trade aggression for a jersey is wild. Pablo Alvarez recalls his coach's warning before kickoff: get into it right away or we're going to have a bad time. The plan was simple, take the ball from Ronaldinho immediately. But the first touch wasn't a foul; it was a through pass that went right past him. That's when Alvarez thought he'd pass him like a f*** and decided to make life difficult. He followed Ronaldinho everywhere, grabbing his shirt and hair all through the first half. It shifted from a standard match into something uncomfortable for the Brazilian star who usually laughs but had no smile here. He was annoyed. The 45 minutes ended in a 0-0 draw which Alvarez calls glory for his side. Walking back through the tunnel, someone touched his shoulder. It was Ronaldinho who took off his shirt. Alvarez saw the gesture as peace rather than a fight. The message was clear: okay, the punches are over now. Alvarez, I'll give you the shirt, but please don't hit me anymore. Alvarez confirms he still has that jersey at home.
