Bruno Fernandes vs Michael Carrick Champions League clash

The tension inside Manchester United is spilling out into the open. Bruno Fernandes has shifted blame for the lack of individual pressure directly onto Michael Carrick's coaching staff, arguing that players sometimes needed to be braver, press much higher up, and take risks. He made it clear that tactical decisions regarding pressing are the coach's call, not his own. It is the coach's and the staff's decision to judge that. IT IS NOT UP TO ME! The reaction from Michael Carrick was immediate and raw. He stated that running forward and returning to defend is essential regardless of system or tactics. If you don't run forward and don't come back to defend, YOU WILL NOT WIN. He expressed frustration and anger regarding the team's performance, admitting he is more than frustrated and really very angry. This clash highlights a potential breakdown in the Manchester United dressing room where effort levels are being questioned against tactical approaches.
