Airbnb new host guest policy

Airbnb just updated its host-guest rules to ban several common requests. Starting with reservations made on November 20 or later, hosts can no longer demand that guests strip beds, wash dishes, put away dishes, or remove trash offsite. The platform also explicitly prohibits hosts from levying fines on guests themselves. This policy shift focuses directly on household chores and financial penalties within the booking experience.
