U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a 45-minute direct conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to address what he called inaccurate media reports regarding U.S.-Ukraine relations. The discussion focused on rejecting rumors suggesting any changes in U.S. policy toward Ukraine, with the Secretary stating that Department of War operations and support for the country remain unchanged. When asked about recent diplomatic updates, Rubio confirmed he spoke with the president today, noting he is seeing many things in the media that are not accurate. He emphasized that as discussed during their call, the main point is the Department of War; everything they have been doing with Ukraine remains the same. That has not changed.
