early voting in florida is a tug-of-war right now with republicans holding a 2.7 point edge after 240,000 ballots were cast. democrats trail at 93,894 votes or 39% while republicans sit at 100,386 for 41.7%. deep-red counties have not opened yet so the trend could still shift blue before it settles. the gop lead peaked at four points earlier but dems regained ground then. we will see if high-energy voters burned out early or if more ballots change the math.
