Black bear drinks 36 beers at campsite

Campers in Washington State came back to a campsite missing 36 cans of beer in 2004, and the culprit was a black bear, which was reportedly found resting nearby afterward. The whole thing got widely reported, and honestly the takeaway is less about the bear and more about the cooler: food and drinks left out in bear country are an open invitation. Store it properly and nobody wakes up to an empty stash.
