MILITO and JOSÉ MOURINHO on the bench

Diego MILITO calls out the split personality of JOSÉ MOURINHO, noting how he plays the villain to shield his squad from pressure while remaining genuinely accessible and pleasant behind closed doors. The player recalls specific extraordinary acts performed by the coach that left a lasting impression. One training session stands out where MILITO's father tried to watch from behind a hedge so he wouldn't disturb anyone. Before the warm-up even started, Mourinho spotted him and asked Diego directly if that was his father. Instead of letting him hide, the coach walked over, told him he couldn't stay there, and personally invited him to sit on the bench. MILITO watched as they ended up sitting together, proving the man who looks tough on the outside is actually quite approachable.
