The 2026 US BoxOffice distributor race has officially crossed the 8.2 billion mark, marking a massive +10.4% surge over the same point in 2023 and a staggering +21% jump compared to 2025. We are literally just 700M away from becoming the biggest year Post-Covid! Looking at the top five distributors year-to-date, Universal leads with 1.53B, followed by Sony at 1.37B. Disney sits in third with 1.09B, while AmazonMGM brought in 627.3M and Lionsgate closed out the list with 518.7M.
