Will Ospreay dropped some serious words after AEW WrestleDream about his time in the ring with Cope. He called it an honor to share that space, but admitted his heart broke as a kid when he first heard about Cope's retirement. That feeling only mended once Cope returned to wrestling, and then mended again when he made the jump to AEW. The whole sentiment came out during a post-show media scrum where Ospreay told Cope how truly honored he felt to be standing there with him.
