Cat moves into owl nest box

A wooden nest box got put up with owls in mind, and the actual resident turned out to be a cat. Cats treat any enclosed space like a personal suite, so this was probably inevitable. Natural explorers by instinct, and a tight little box reads as comfort and security to them. Which leaves the house with a tenant nobody planned on. The whole thing lands somewhere between adorable and funny, and the takeaway writes itself: home is wherever a cat picks to settle. So who gets the deed, the owl or the cat? #Cats
