Simeone Inzaghi salary debate

The debate over whether these two coaches actually earn their massive paychecks is getting loud, especially when you stack the cash against the hardware. Diego Simeone sits among the highest-paid managers globally with an annual salary of roughly 23.4 million euros, yet his trophy haul for Atlético Madrid includes just two La Liga titles and two Europa Leagues plus two UEFA Champions League finals. The author describes this as an era built in Madrid, but does that legacy really cover the cost? Then there is Simone Inzaghi bringing in around 26 million euros per season at Al-Hilal after a run where he secured one Serie A title and two Coppa Italia titles with Inter alongside the Saudi Cup. He arrived in Arabia carrying a significant collection of trophies, sure, but the contracts are just as gigantic as the expectations. It feels like life support for some of these deals because the results achieved by these coaches might not actually justify the high salaries anymore. When you look at the numbers, it is hard to ignore the conflict between history and current market rates.
