Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 campaign review

A North Korean invasion of South Korea sets the table, and Private Park Hyun Jun plus his squad are left scrambling just to stay alive through it. Elsewhere Captain Price is digging into a global threat that could blow the whole conflict up into something much worse. The set pieces land: firefights hit hard, missions switch up enough to stay fresh, the action is properly cinematic, and the military throughline gives it weight. Where it slips is the pacing, which drifts, and a story that feels stitched together from pieces, plus returning faces who don't get enough room to register. So it's an action-heavy campaign with no shortage of moments worth remembering, and still the split focus keeps it from greatness. Curious how you'd rank it against the best in the series.
