Gareth Southgate admits no more football

Gareth Southgate is done with the game entirely, stating he no longer derives any enjoyment from football at all. He notes he has watched very little of it lately and admits there is minimal interest in resuming a management role. Towards the end of my time with England, I stopped enjoying, at the very least for a period, the wins that keep you going, he says. When pressed on returning to manage in the Premier League, he asserts there is no scenario where he does that. After years of public attention for Southgate, the text suggests a significant withdrawal from the sport. #GarethSouthgate
