The narrative claiming Jews are leaving the Democratic Party due to antisemitism gets dismantled by Hasan as a fabrication rooted in Israel-related issues. He notes this exact song and dance has already played out across the UK, proving it is not a new phenomenon. The confrontation targets Neera Tanden and others who push this specific story about Jewish departures. Hasan delivers a hard ultimatum: stop advancing what he explicitly calls a lie regarding antisemitism. His stance is that anyone handing their card at the door for promoting this falsehood is no longer a democrat. You and I both know the core issue here is about Israel, he insists. He demands Neera Tanden say it with her chest instead of pretending otherwise while the rest of us listen to the chaos.
