Pippa Bacca wedding dress hitchhiking

The wedding dress was never a costume. Pippa Bacca wore it as she hitchhiked out of Milan in 2008, heading for the Middle East with a friend, because she wanted to show that trust between strangers still holds and that goodness is real. The whole thing was an art project. She got close to Turkey. Near Gebze a man gave her a lift and then he attacked her, and she died from it. She was 33. Days passed before anyone found her body. I can't imagine the fear they felt with no escape. The postscript is the part that stays: people who call themselves idealists will not look straight at the fact that evil exists.
