#StreetFighter Movie Tomatometer Score

Critics are finally weighing in after Paramount lifted the embargo on StreetFighter and the consensus is that 34% of 29 reviewers gave the new StreetFighterMovie a thumbs up. sure that beats the 11% from the 1994 StreetFighter flick and the dismal 3% for StreetFighterTheLegendOfChunLi, but it still can't touch MortalKombatII at 63%, the 2021 MortalKombat at 55%, or the 1995 MortalKombat at 43%. the general take is that while the movie starts strong it goes downhill fast even though it reuses all those elements that made MortalKombatII work without actually using them right. most folks call it a messy film with low quality but a few defenders say it leans into being goofy and cheesy and honestly knows exactly what it is. StreetFighter hits the US BoxOffice when it debuts.
