Farid Basharat UFC departure statement

Farid Basharat is leaving the UFC with a perfect record intact, and he wants it known the split had nothing to do with what he can do in the cage. The bantamweight put out a statement after no new contract came his way following his July fight. He walks away with a 16-0 MMA record, 7-0 of that inside the UFC. His words: "My departure clearly has nothing to do with my fighting capabilities…" And then the part that stings: "The organisation isn't what it used to be. They're heading in a different direction from what we all grew up loving." That's a guy who never lost a round for them saying the place changed, not him.
