Lisandro Martinez Manchester United exit doubt

The exit door at Old Trafford might be swinging open for Lisandro Martinez. Word is the Argentine defender's time at Manchester United is up in the air, and it traces back to him going public with criticism of the club's hierarchy. Here's the wrinkle: United can keep him past next summer if they want, since there's a clause in play, but nobody has decided yet whether to pull that trigger. He also angled for a switch to Atletico Madrid last summer and nothing materialized, as no offer United deemed suitable ever landed. So where does that leave things? The extension call is the whole ballgame, and until it's made, his future stays a question mark.
