Isco Real Betis Champions League MVP

Five Champions Leagues already sit on that shelf, and yet the conversation around Isco keeps starting from doubt. Not anymore, at least not after this. Real Betis put him in a Champions League night and the Spanish midfielder walked out of it as the match's best player, the winner against Porto coming off his boot in the biggest club competition there is. That's not a one-off either. A brace in the league had already landed with an MVP tag attached, and now the Champions League stage gets the same treatment. Nobody is inflating this version of him. It's the old Isco, the one people used to rave about, showing up again when it matters. He has earned more respect than he gets, and that part isn't complicated. Football wins when he's playing like this. IF MAGISCO IS HAPPY, I AM HAPPY.
