Golden State Valkyries WNBA Finals run

Honestly, the Golden State Valkyries just punched a ticket to the WNBA Finals in only their second season of play. They didn't just show up; they secured the number two seed after qualifying for the playoffs back in year one. It is wild that a franchise which officially began operations in 2025 has already made this kind of history so fast. The growth extends way past the court though. Forbes valued the team at $850 million now, which is a massive jump from the reported $50 million expansion fee they paid to get started.
