Greta Gerwig Narnia Stairway to Heaven

The reasoning behind the music choice in the Narnia trailer comes down to a specific request from Greta Gerwig. She personally persuaded Led Zeppelin to grant permission for Stairway to Heaven to appear in the footage. Her interpretation of the track centers on it being about a spiritual journey down a path of enlightenment. It also addresses false idols and the wrong paths to go down, which she felt made it suitable for the project.
