Rosario Central World Cup 2030 bid

The Monumental de River Plate is the only stadium in Argentina confirmed for the World Cup 2030 right now, but Rosario Central has officially proposed something else to FIFA. They want the Gigante de Arroyito to host matches by using the renovation works already happening at the venue. This comes from the city where Leo Messi was born, a place hoping to secure a role in the World Cup 2030 events. The whole situation raises a real question: will the tournament actually be played on the land associated with Leo Messi? There is still uncertainty regarding whether the World Cup will take place in Rosario despite the proposal.
