Rayan Cherki PSG transfer collapse

Picture the alternate timeline where Rayan Cherki actually wears PSG blue. Reports say he got on the phone and sent a voice message straight to Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, thanking the PSG president for the chance to come aboard. Personal terms were reportedly agreed, and Cherki was buzzing about the possibility. PSG and Lyon even reportedly swapped documents over a €15 MILLION package with bonuses baked in. And then it just fell apart. The Lyon to PSG move never happened despite everything reportedly being lined up. So here's the debate: does Cherki thrive in Paris, or did that collapse actually do him a favor long term?
