The Philadelphia District Attorney said nothing in those priors legally barred him from having a gun. What it cost: Officer Shane Seiber, 40, an Air Force veteran, two kids at home. Officers answered a call about a person with a gun in West Philadelphia just after midnight Saturday and walked into fire. Backup found him and a second officer wounded on a porch. He'd been hit three times and died hours later. Lewis surrendered to a SWAT team carrying three guns, one stolen off an officer. Arraigned on more than 70 counts, murder and homicide of a law enforcement officer among them, held without bail.
