Giants Commanders OT chaos 27-27 tie

If you ever needed a single sequence of football to sum up the absolute madness of the NFC East, the final minutes of OT between the Giants and Commanders on Sunday were it. With the game hanging in the balance, both teams traded turns handing each other the victory on a silver platter: 🏈 New York miss a go-ahead field goal 🏈 Washington turned it over 🏈 New York fumbles in field goal range 🏈 Washington run it inbounds with no timeouts and FORGET to spike the ball as time expires Deep in field goal range with 12 seconds left, Washington had a game-winning kick lined up. Instead of spiking it, Jayden Daniels took off running, the offense couldn't set the line in time, and the clock hit 0:00 to lock in a wild 27-27 tie. To cap off the total chaos across the division: not a single NFC East team won in Week 5.
