    🏛️Joseph Kabila🏛️Félix Tshisekedi🌍Democratic Republic of the Congo

José Makila aux ministres de Tshisekedi

José Makila stood in front of the Sacred Union and Tshisekedi's ministers with a message that wasn't built for comfort. Governing, he said, means owning what you do and answering for it. So when Honorary President Joseph Kabila raises observations, the response should come back in facts, in figures, in results. Not insults. Not personal attacks. What got to him was the tone. Certain ministers, in his view, showing a smallness through language that doesn't match the office they hold. Height, responsibility, dignity were the things he wanted to see instead. The DRC, as he put it, is a common heritage. Not the property of an individual. And while people are dealing with insecurity, with no jobs, with no water, no electricity, no roads, some of the energy in the room goes toward praising power rather than toward the responsibilities that come with it. His closing thought lands hard: the title of Excellence is neither a record nor immunity against criticism. Functions pass. Acts remain. And the people always end up demanding accountability. #JosephKabila
