    Ezequiel Lavezzi career retrospective

Getting cut by a Rosario Central coach as a teenager and then turned away by Boca Juniors during a trial would end most careers before they start. For Ezequiel Lavezzi, it was just the beginning of a detour. His brother told him not to quit, and that push sent him to Estudiantes de Caseros in the third division. From there he built something real: an Argentine championship with San Lorenzo, a Coppa Italia after moving to Napoli, then PSG dropping 31 million euros to bring him to Paris, where he collected 12 titles. He finished his club run at Hebei Fortune in China and retired at 34. With Argentina he's an Olympic champion and a world runner-up. THE POCHO was a total baller, and his legacy deserves way more recognition than it gets.
