    DOJ antitrust probe into ABC CBS CNN NBC Fox News

    the Antitrust Division is looking into whether ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and Fox News broke federal antitrust law, and it all traces back to a joint decision those five made about their shared TV coverage of President Trump a DOJ spokeswoman told the New York Times that the television press pool has proudly boycotted White House events, and she noted that group boycotts among commercial competitors can violate the Sherman Act her follow-up: the Antitrust Division is simply investigating to determine whether these news organizations have violated the antitrust laws the backstory is that the White House blocked CNN from its pool slot in late September, and rather than send someone else in CNN's place, all five networks agreed to stop covering President Trump's movements together, in unison other outlets stepped up with video coverage while the big five sat it out and the boycott did not last long 😅 #DonaldTrump
