Sir Alex Ferguson Manchester United legacy

The tears came after the words, not before. Sir Alex Ferguson had already told his Manchester United players he was stepping away, and only then, alone in his office, did he let it out. Over 26 years in charge at Old Trafford, and what he leaves behind is a run of silverware that still reads like a typo: 13 Premier League titles, 5 FA Cups, 4 League Cups, 2 UEFA Champions League crowns. That is the kind of era that turns a club into a global giant, and it is why the man gets called a legend without anyone blinking. THE ETERNAL BOSS. #AlexFerguson
