Other Mommy D+ CinemaScore

That D+ CinemaScore for OtherMommy is exactly the problem. Jessica Chastain's R-rated horror pulled a STRONG 12.6M FRI Opening Day in the US, with 3.6M THU Previews, and the comparisons to Scream5, M3GAN, TheExorcistBeliever, TheBlackPhone, LongLegs and IronLung all made sense. But WOM is described as poor across every metric, so the film might see its box office run erode faster than expected. Blumhouse always keeps its production budgets in check though, and with a 19M price tag excluding marketing, it should still make most of its money back while in theatres. A 25M-30M three-day opening weekend in the US is the projection. JessicaChastain BoxOffice CinemaScore www.cinemascore.com
