Wisconsin's McGregor Lake just wrapped up its restoration, and the US Army Corps of Engineers is behind it. Seven islands were built to give wildlife somewhere to land, and 270 acres of aquatic habitat came back with them. The project wasn't just paperwork either, heavy machinery and crews were on site getting it done.
