AFC-M23 drone tracking hits Erik Prince camp

Twenty dead, and the way it happened is the part that matters. AFC-M23 hit mercenaries identified as backing President Tshisekedi in Congo. Signal origin is what gave it up. The CONGOLESE REVOLUTIONARY ARMY, the ARC wing of AFC-M23, used drone tracking tech to locate the headquarters of Erik Prince, working from where the transmission came from. Then came a surprise assault that ran until the group was reached. Go back to mid-September in South Kivu. A Vectus Global convoy, the private security company Erik Prince founded, got ambushed by AFC-M23. Around 20 dead and wounded from that one, Wazalendo among them. The start of it was mining sites. These mercenaries were sent to secure them and to support the Congolese army against M23. Combat came after, and they were in on the capture of Uvira once Sultani Makenga's forces pulled back. AFC-M23 soldiers caught the signals from the surveillance drone and followed them to the mercenary camp. That clash killed no fewer than seven FARDC soldiers, plus one former member of the New Zealand Special Forces. Contractors were injured too, Tim Kennedy included, the ex-UFC fighter and former Green Beret, who is receiving treatment in the United States. Dronification of war. Nothing stays the way it was #ErikPrince #SultaniMakenga
