Diego Simeone Messi Maradona opinion

Diego Simeone stepped up to settle the Messi versus Maradona debate between two Argentine legends, and his take relies on the numbers. He pointed out that statistical evidence leaves no one above Messi, while also noting how lucky we are to have watched the greatest players in football history unfold before our eyes. The sentiment lands as a warm acknowledgment of both icons without needing to pick sides beyond what the stats show. #DiegoSimeone
