Messi Argentina farewell date theory

Whoever sketched out the ending of Messi's Argentina chapter deserves some kind of award, because the numbers were hiding in plain sight the whole time. October 6, 2026 is going to hurt, no way around that. But look at what the date is actually doing. The 6? That's 2006, the year Messi first stepped onto a World Cup pitch with Argentina. October? Tenth month, and the 10 is the shirt he wore when he said goodbye to the AFA. And 2026? The year he announced he was done with the Argentina National Team. Netflix wishes it could plot something this clean. The true "it was written" and I'm not okay. #LionelMessi
