Trying to promise victory or physical dominance just didn't land when you're that young; nobody was going to believe a child claiming they were gonna beat up big guys. It wasn't just the logic of it either, he admits he genuinely disliked his own voice during those early years and felt unable to cut promos effectively. That changed once he signed with WWE. The platform gave him the space to focus and actually lock in on his promotional abilities. He describes promos as being just as accessible as matches if you break them down for real and put in the dedicated effort. When you work hard towards it, it's easy, just talk your talk. Now that WWE has been giving him the opportunity to speak more, he's finally starting to feel comfortable using his voice again. It's a clear shift from someone who avoided the mic out of necessity and insecurity to someone who understands the craft through hard work.
