    Mohammed Abbas Cardiff free house case

    Cardiff. A house worth £250,000. Two bedrooms, all of it covered by the taxpayer. That was what Mohammed Abbas got handed just after a July sentence for assaulting an officer, and the timing is the part that sticks. Go back further and he's 29, Palestinian, and he came into the United Kingdom illegally on a small boat in March. Then near the close of July, at 2 a.m., he walked into a British family's home and exposed himself to two sisters, 13 and 16, before running off with their phones and AirPods. A new sentence lands in November, and the read on it is that deportation won't follow. So the same man stays in the UK, still on the public's dime, still committing crimes against British citizens. THE Sun put it on the front page, and honestly, the sequence speaks for itself.
