Most hat-tricks in the 21st century

GiveMeSport put together the hat-trick counts for this century and Cristiano Ronaldo sits on top with 66, which is four more than Lionel Messi's 62. After those two the gap opens up. Ali Ashfaq comes in third at 35, Robert Lewandowski right behind him on 34. Fifth place is shared by Harry Kane and Luis Suarez, both on 31. Then Erling Haaland with 28, Ali Mabkhout with 27, Vyacheslav Zahovaiko with 26, Kylian Mbappe with 25, Marc Lloyd Williams with 24, Abderrazak Hamdallah with 23. Neymar and Aleksandar Duric are level on 22 each. Sebastian Tagliabue has 21. Greg Draper, Firas Al-Khatib and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all land on 20. Rounding it out, Mario Gomez and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar are tied on 18 apiece. Twenty names, one stat, and the spread between first and last is unreal. #CristianoRonaldo
