    In China’s BoxOffice, R-rated game adaptation horror reboot ResidentEvil directed by ZachCregger remained #1 on 3rd day, (final day of the local GoldenWeek 7-day long holiday), grossing STRONG $5.7M on WED over 114k screenings (-2k from yesterday, just a -30.5% drop from TUE! It hits a $26M cume in just 3 days. Incredible walk up business specially for horror, 86.4% of tickets bought on the day, only 13.6% during pre-sales. Audiences score from ticket buyers on Maoyan remains under wraps, on Douban it received a solid 7.2⭐️ score, specially strong for Hollywood horror films locally. $230k in pre-sales for THU, when it will play over 98k screenings (-16k from today)
