In his memoir Bloodlines, Joe Manganiello says ex-wife Sofia Vergara made fun of him for getting a chihuahua back in 2019. He writes that he was thinking about suicide when he adopted the dog and had already handed over his gun because he kept obsessing over it. The arrival of the chihuahua shifted things for him from being the patient to something else entirely.
