JEAN-CLAUDE MASANGU, an ungrateful Katangese who believes that by falsely accusing JOSEPH KABILA, FELIX TSHISEKEDI would entrust him with the governance of the Central Bank. Why are the Katangese so mean to their own brother? ⏺️Who can trust this category of men when they allow themselves such political cruelties against their own political leader? ⏺️JEAN-CLAUDE MASANGU had the impudence of an ungrateful person to affirm that under LAURENT DÉSIRÉ KABILA, he did not have management independence with respect to political power. ⏺️The former Governor of the Central Bank of Congo (BCC), JEAN-CLAUDE MASANGU MULONGO, thus stated that the institution was not independent under his governance. ⏺️As a guest on Tuesday, October 6, on SPACE LIVE, he explained that, under LAURENT-DÉSIRÉ KABILA, the BCC was placed under the supervision of the Presidency, which set the exchange rate itself. ⏺️Under JOSEPH KABILA, the independence of the BCC was, according to him, 'half-and-half': the bank mastered its monetary policy tools, but continued to finance the government, due to the lack of a local market. ⏺️He estimates that today, the BCC is 'completely independent' and no longer finances the state. What childish political behavior? ⏺️JEAN-CLAUDE MASANGU is a liar who will never get what he seeks from TSHISEKEDI. ⏺️He will never again be Governor of the Central Bank of Congo.
