Cross-language creator-fan communication on social media got a real shake-up starting April 6. The groundwork for it was laid six months earlier, when 𝕏, still known to plenty of people as Twitter, switched on auto-translate. What that did was open up channels between a whole lot of Japanese creators and audiences worldwide, and the back-and-forth between them picked up in a way that hadn't been happening before. #XCom #Twitter
