Lionel Messi receives Doctor Honoris Causa from UBA

THIS IMAGE EMOTIONED US ALL! Just before his last match with the Argentina National Team in his career. Lionel Messi was awarded the title "Doctor Honoris Causa" by the University of Buenos Aires. The highest honorary distinction granted by the UBA. A recognition for his excellence, humility, ethical exercise of his activity, and commitment to representing Argentina. These were the words of Dr. Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini: "To receive such a recognition is an honor for me, especially being able to say that I am an honorary doctor. It is a very special day; I know it will be difficult, and I will try to enjoy it. I am calm, but as the moment of the match approaches, it gets a little more complicated, so starting like this, with this recognition, makes it much more special. Thank you very much; truly, it is a great honor." HONOR TO WHOM HONOR IS DUE.
